Dog Sculpture

IED Madrid

‘Hello, I am a critique’ is a dog sculpture exhibited at the exclusive mall ‘Las Rozas Village, Madrid‘ that explores social complexities inspired by Basquiat.

For this exhibition, I created a thought-provoking dog sculpture, showcased at ‘Las Rozas Village‘, Madrid. More than an artistic piece, it serves as a critique of our contemporary society. Titled ‘Hello, I am a critique,’ it transcends conventional aesthetics, deeply exploring the social fabric shaping our behaviours and identities. This sculpture navigates the surface, aiming to reveal the underlying social issues that mould our existence and drive our actions. It challenges viewers to engage in a synesthetic experience, looking beyond the physical form to perceive the essence — the soul encapsulated within each body.

Drawing inspiration from Basquiat, this creation embodies the essence of pure artistic creation—a fusion of critical observation, social introspection, and profound research to reveal the covered narratives that define us.

My dog sculpture was showcased in the renowned magazine, Yo Dona.
