My final piece was exhibited at ‘The Garment Museum (Madrid)’. Inspired by a large study of volumes.
Crafted without a single stitch, my exhibited piece celebrates BALENCIAGA’s enduring legacy. From pins and calico emerged an evolution—a testament to pushing limits, venturing beyond comfort, and unlocking innovative avenues in fashion design.
Housed within the prestigious walls of ‘The Garment Museum (Madrid)’, my exhibited final piece represents an ode to BALENCIAGA’s enduring legacy. Inspired by an extensive exploration of volumes, this creation stands as a testament to the brand’s evolution.
Crafted exclusively from calico and pins, without any form of sewing, this project aimed to sculpt intricate volumes, overcoming the limitations imposed by mainly pinning and draping.
As the garment took shape, it served as a canvas for pushing boundaries and stepping out of my comfort zone. This journey not only challenged conventional methods but also unlocked new realms of creative expression, propelling me to explore alternative pathways in the realm of fashion design.
